SOBAN K-TOWN GRILL, the newest Korean restaurant in Eastwood Mall, recently opened its first branch last May. Named after the Korean term for “small tray or table,” Soban serves authentic Korean dishes—with a fresh, modern twist. It sets itself apart from other restaurants through its interesting cuisine combinations of Korean food creatively paired with other cuisines such as Japanese, Mexican, Filipino, and even classic American dishes.
The ultimate K-Town feast
First time visitors should start off their Korean food adventure with Soban’s Japanese-inspired dish Beef Ramyeon, a steaming bowl of Korean ramen made with homemade fragrant bone marrow broth and beef strips. Beef Korilog is their version of the famous Filipino tapsilog, a filling beef bulgogi meal that comes with kimchi fried rice topped with fried egg.
A welcome surprise is the Kimchi fries—crispy potatoes topped with cheese, roasted pork bits, and kimchi dipped in barbecue sauce to make it flavorful. One of their best dishes that highlight their flair for fusion cuisine is the Korean Taco(or K-Taco), a soft flour tortilla filled with lettuce, kimchi, sour cream, cheese, and a selectionof Korean-flavored barbecued meats such as spicy chicken, pork, or beef bulgogi.

The flavorful and highly aromatic Dak Galbi is a Korean classic dish that teases the senses. Dak galbi is a solo-grilled, caramelized chicken served in three hearty serving sizes with unlimited sides.
Finally, end your meal with some homemade coffee ice cream called “Coffee Prince,” named after the 2007 Korean television drama. You may choose from three flavors: coffee, vanilla, and cookies and cream. If you can’t decide on just one, then have the Ice Cream Trio for a delightful combination of all three flavors. Better yet, indulge even further with a soft biscuit sandwich filled with red bean paste topped with coffee ice cream.
Each table in Soban K-Town Grill has a built-in grill that allows customers to enjoy authentic Korean-style dining. Otherwise, a Soban staff may assist in cooking and serving the grilled dishes for a hassle-free dining experience.
